Inspired by the hills, rivers and moorlands that surround my home in Eskdalemuir…

Landscape Artist — Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland

I make expressive, increasingly abstract paintings rooted in the landscape surrounding my studio in Eskdalemuir. Walking is integral to my painting practice — out into the moorlands, forestry and river banks of this valley, then back to the studio to translate what I've found.
